Ya, this is Asian cum Western's bbq.. They bbq only sausages but we have nuggets..heh heh
Dairy One -Day Practical
This is a practical we will always remember. Though toughand tiring, but kinda fun too! A really great experience that we can never have in SG. We made cheese, butter and yogurt..I was in charge of Cheddar, so you will see most pics are on cheddar

I cant really remember what cheese is this.. I think its gouda..

Ever thought about how the most basic and common cheese(cheddar) is done? Here goes..

The pre mix of cheddar cheese which includes milk

Curd in whey after rennet is added..

Look like scramble egg isnt it?

Pour away the whey (This can me re-worked into another cheese, like the Gouda I've mentioned above..I think its Gouda la)

Shape the curd, seperate into halves..

Then into sixes...

It will harden abit, take it out, chop it into pieces.

Add salt..

Compact it into this dont know what thing..

Turn it really tight..and store for 24 hours..And it will take the shape of that thing..Round.. Yummy!! I love cheddar.. especially EXTRA SHARP!
