Our love notes for their 2nd anniversary..This is from their webbie!! go to http://www.love-and-co.com/00_anniversary.html for love notes from other couples

*Food*

We saw this interesting M&Ms while shopping, so we bought to try.. for this Xmas, they came out with Orange chocolates!
They never fail to amaze me with their pretty pretty colours
We had this in ION Orchard, a small little shop selling Snow Ice..this is the Black Sesame flavoured ice with my favourite Red Bean!! It doesnt look very tempting but the taste is POWER!! Super strong black sesame taste, love it!
Price: $5/-

CH.C.LATE Chocolate Research Facility

Love their packaging, because you can never know what flavour it is untill you see behind
.
.
.

I've got the
Exotic series: Hazelnut Gianduja ( its chocalate with Hazelnut praline) +
Spring Summer 09: Peppermint with Mint Flakes ( choc with mint leaves!!!)
*Drools*
More to come..when you look inside..... you'll see

different sizes

.
Interesting right? They made a normal choc bar different just by adding little words..
I haven tried it yet.. Do take a look at their webbie: http://www.chocolateresearchfacility.com/

Oh!! Every week or a few week once, they will have 30% off their outlet favourite flavour..different outlet will have different flavours, so remember to check it out each time you pass by!

*Pressies for me!!!* (from myself..hehe..)

I've always been a fan of ZA 2-way cake since secondary school, or rather, its the only 2-way cake I've tried..thought it is nice to use and also cheap! haha..so I'll never miss out their year-end limited edition foundation set!

Even the box looks so pretty! How to resist you tell me??

Its a metallic light pink case..This is the best I could do to capture the colour of the case, go to any Watsons and you will see the real thing.. the pink thing below is a heart shape pouch, which I dont think I will ever use..Just dont like it..

Pink base too..

Just to clarify some stuffs, its not that I LOVE pink (ok, the only pink I LOVE is FUSHIA, but its more of a purple pink,so its not totally pink! HA!), its just that PINK happens to be nice in the things I choose as compared to other colours!! AND, I've found TWO friends who are like that!!! Whahaha!!! So, Im normal =)
My sleeping mask..Its FUSHIA!!!!
Just thought it goes well with my Cutie Minnie bedsheet..hahaa..
It really does help me to sleep better, especially when my sis comes back late and on the lights to do her stuffs..

*My Xmas Feel*

We went to Carrefour yesterday to get some Xmas Deco for our party..

Many many things..We've got:

Snow flakes spray..
LED lights..
Some shiny silver beads and glitter ribbons..
Some shiny balls...
and more balls...heheand of course, our Xmas tree!!

The tree was quite cheap, plus we got to know the supplier that supplies to Carrefour, and so, we went to his shop at Arab St to buy the balls and got discounts!!! How nice! Here is Sotong doing up the tree by expanding the leaves, the pictures seems quite blurry as it was taken at night by my HP, but who cares?? the main attention is the tree...
Yup, its done and standing at 2.1m tall outside Sotong's balcony.. We did the decorations at about 12am this morning and the pictures didnt turn out nice, so I took it again in the day.. =)

PVC Balls..hehe.. this one is nice right?! Love it!!
Opps, forgot to rotate it, but never mind la, just looks at the deco can liao..
Big bling bling ribbons! Cant really see the blings here though..
The funny thing is that we forgot to buy the Star for the tip of the tree, so temporarily, we put the ribbon up there..
Tada!!! Our completed Xmas Tree..Its my first xmas tree and I'm so proud of it! haaa..

I thought it still looks abit plain, so will get more stuffs to decorate it!

Now looking for sponsors for the pressies below the tree!! Anyone?? ;)

~~Random~~

Finally, we had our photoshoot done and over with. Quite a fun process but tiring. We are quite suay la, we had to shoot for 2 days before its completed. Why? Because it rained on our 1st session, which is on monday. We postponed the outdoor shoot to today, in the morning-afternoon session, and luckily, the sky was good the whole day! Hot la, was really perspiring man. Our locations:

1. Botanical Gardens
2. Behind Hort Park
3. Everton Road
4. Shenton Way

Yea, a number of locations but each shot wasn't long. Hee.. Just hope that the pics do turn out well.

Guess the amount of pins that was used on my head...

Haa.. Now I have double the amount of pins at my home!

Anyway, after the shoot, my HTB and me went over to Vivo city for some food, hungry after the half day shooting. Went to Daiso and bought some stuffs:

Some instant noodles that are cup noodles (those that you just add hot water), my fav Oolong tea, some push pins for my work desk, and a cute tea strainer
A tea house strainer

Cute right? I can now buy tea leaves instead of tea bags, which I thought that tea leaves some how taste much better, even those cheapo ones.

Went to Starbucks also to get my early Xmas pressie from HTB..Hee...

My new mug for office! You see my hand there because I was trying to take the glitters that are in the plastic portion.. Not white specks hor...
Without flash..
Now you see the glitters..heee..

We actually went to a number of coffee house to see their mugs, but I guess only Coffee Bean and Starbucks have those really nice ones.. And also just nice that Xmas is around the corner, so they have really cute mugs, and its really not easy to decide lo! Those who are intending to get new ones or maybe a Xmas gift for someone close, you now know where to get ;)

Oh! and also, I also got a free Tall drink when we got the mug..its ANY drink in the menu..heee

Sotong preferred the Coffee Bean one, as its more "manly". Will take a pic when I buy that for him..

~~Manicure + other stuffs~~

Went to AMK yesterday with HQ to do our manicure..Its the first time in my life doing manicure (yes, SK i know..), and its done perfectly by Fiona's Nail Haven

Beautiful french with pretty flowers nail art..
Close up view..

I always thought that French looks very classy and elegant, very versatile too, it just goes with anything! The glitter stripes make it look more obvious plus some blings..Look at how sweet these flowers are? Its made petals by petals, not by mould!

Price? Im not sure about market rate, but for the quality I get, ITS CHEAP LA!!! haaa...Will sure to go back there to do my nails again! Im going to book my actual day Bridal mani with Fiona again! Anyone wanna join me?heee..

Thereafter, we went back to Jazz Bridal to try all my gowns and also to choose my outdoor gown for our photoshoot tomorrow =)

We watched Saw 6 at 0205 and it kinda sucks.. Rating damn low for this movie..crap for a Halloween sneak.

~Pictures Updates~

Just a few quick updates plus PICTURES:

1. Yes, Fred..as requested, he's now our official Ah Mat for our big day..I'll make sure his car would be decorated on the day before, so that he can drive his car proudly to work haa..=)

2. Have already decided on my gowns..nice service i can say, just that some of the staffs have weirdo tastes..like me wearing a gown which all agree that I look like a ma-ma-san, but she suddenly say:
oh! very nice! very elegant!

All of us were like -_-"" does she mean that I looked like an ELEGANT MAMA SAN????wtf..

Pleasant view of the studio.. ours is Jazz Bridal by the way..

A little peep at the bridal gown I've chose ;)

Yes, my HTB sitting down with a tie that another groom-to-be wore for his photoshoot. This pic is him awake..he slept during the other fittings...duhz..

3. Have dyed my hair today at Sandstorm by Monsoon.. expensive la!!!heart pain.. but at least it turn out ok..not too bad la.. just dyed a darker colour so that my previous highlights are covered, the person recommended the colour so that during photo taking, the colour wont be too bright till it outstands weirdly..
It looks black here, but its actually dark reddish brown..

4. Went to try our ring this Wed @ Love & Co before it was sent for engraving. The lady, Evelyn Quah, who served us is very good, love their service there..when they say they will get back to you, they really will. And also, she asked if we are interested in taking some shots for Love & Co, while writing some wishes for their 3rd year anniversary. Our pictures would be online together with our wishes. We did and here's what we got as a token of appreciation.

Pretty elegant box

Their limited edition watches! Nope, we wont wear it, it just doesnt suit us.. =P

5. Location is more or less confirmed.. but just some pics of the place we initially wanted :

Naumi Hotel

Haiz..nice view but think they should do something with their menu for the price that couples have to pay..Like paying for shark fins but only getting starch... sad lei..

Anyway, here's a peek at the place we are going to choose..

My favourite area of all!! And its so obvious why..ha!

The below pictures are just random..

Oh, for those that dont know, this is the pic that Sotong used to propose.. see the ring on the Gundam's hand?

A close up view of the ring from Citigem.. No how many carat for this ring, its just a simple ring. I dont bother about how many carat ring i will get, because Im not the type who believe in: the bigger the diamond = how sincere the guy is. Whether he is sincere or not, you will know.. =)

The number of pax has increase from 40+ to almost double, thats because that place can accommodate up to 100+ pax. We gonna take 2 levels, 2nd and 3rd. We've got pics but I dont wanna put it up first is lazy, second is to keep the suspense. haa..

Next Sunday (11 0ct 2009) is our gown fitting, cant wait la!! excited =)

~~cont from previous post....~~

Come to think about it, after typing out and reading the previous post, its quite obvious on which place to choose ya? LOL...
~~Updates~~

Yesterday (26 Sept 09)

Went to an ex colleagues' house warming at JW. They bought a 4-room flat for 337k, the location is quite near MRT. Quite big lei. Then after, we went to Hazel's ROM cum housewarming at Queenstown. I love her place, so big and nice.. She always have nice taste for decos, except her gold and jade liking..HA!

After that, we went to catch a movie with the usual gang. Watched Accident by Louise Koo and Richie Ren. The story plot was so-so, but the whole movie is slow pace..making me feel like sleeping.. Not a bad movie to catch but totally NOT WORTH the weekend movie ticket price.

Our wedding plans updates...

I think we sort of settled a number of things. We've settled our:
  1. JP
  2. photographer(s)
  3. gown fitting and photo taking dates
  4. our rings.
  5. But most importantly, our venue, is not really settled yet. We are still decided between 2 places. One with better food, one with better scenic view. We like both places..(Food or views?? Comments anyone??)
A little detail on the places we wanna choose:

Place 1

VERY nice view
A night stay in hotel room (meaning a place to change)
Menu looks pathetic
More expensive
Event coordinator abit the slow in responding
Decos to the minimum
No air-con (scared will be hot if no wind)
Space is quite limited
Limit to 45 pax

Place 2

Nice view of SG river
No place to change la, no hotel room too..
Menu looks YUMMY
Cheaper
Events coordinator unknown yet
Decos not too bad, its FUSHIA!! HA!!
Air-con
More comfy sitting
Can invite about 60 pax

Comments comments!! choose where? View or food??

~~Sick~~

Now its my turn to be sick. Down with flu, sore throat, cough and fever. Sickening. Hate to be sick. I have to stay home and do nothing. Tired...
